Jeff Soyk is an award-winning media artist with experience in new media design, motion design, animation, photography and film/video. His credits include art director, UI/UX designer and architect on the interactive documentary “Hollow,” a 2013 Peabody award-winner and a 2012 Tribeca New Media Fund grantee. “Hollow” received 3rd prize for the World Press Photo Interactive Documentary Awards, was a finalist in the Activism and People’s Choice awards at SXSW Interactive 2014, was a finalist for the DocLab Storytelling Award at IDFA in 2013, was a Web Community honoree at the 2014 Webby Awards, and was FWA: Site of the Day and Adobe Cutting Edge Project of the Week in 2013.

Soyk’s passion for meaningful storytelling and multiple mediums has led him to interactive documentary, as he recognizes the potential of modern media to create engaging experiences with a positive and lasting impact. He has a B.F.A. in New Media Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.F.A. in Media Art from Emerson College.
